    Summary: Between 8:02 PM and 8:17 PM EDT on September 28, 2025, users experienced SSL/TLS connection errors when accessing RoasterTools. The issue was caused by an authentication requirement from our SSL certificate provider that needed to be completed before certificate renewal could proceed.


    Impact:

    • Users were unable to access the platform securely

    • Duration: 15 minutes

    • Severity: Major outage


    Resolution: Our team completed the required authentication with our SSL provider and the certificates were successfully renewed at 8:17 PM EDT. All services returned to full operational status.


    Next Steps: We're implementing additional monitoring to proactively detect certificate renewal requirements ahead of expiration dates to prevent similar issues in the future.
